socratic seminar

Today in class we had a socratic seminar. We talked about subjects such as fortitude prudent temporance and justace. I was not personally a big fan this socratic seminar because the subject were to huge. And during class i think student were trying to hard to impress ms. Golub by making the subjects bigger. This caused the class not to come up with universall trait. There were many good points brought up butt I often found myself very confused becuase the subjects were so huge. Some ideas brought up in the socratic seminar were forgivness, bravery, justace... I was so confused on how the way things esculated during the seminar. I think that those topics are to hard to seminar about because the subject is to braud. I believed that you cant forgive everything and there is a fine line between forgivible and non forgivible. I hope that next time we either get time to study for a socratic seminar or choose a smaller topic.
